Sign up to be a volunteer at the Tippecanoe County Fair! |
Help speak out for reproductive rights at the Tippecanoe County Fair during the week of July 21-27. As we have done for the past two years, the Indiana Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice will be working in partnership with Planned Parenthood of Indiana and the League of Women Voters of Greater Lafayette to sponsor a booth at the fair. The booth will include educational displays, interactive activities, hand-outs, and other great opportunities to engage the public.
This is a great opportunity to educate people about (1) the importance of prevention and the vital services of Planned Parenthood, (2) the "pro-faith, pro-family, pro-choice" message of the Indiana Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, and (3) the League of Women Voters' commitment to reproductive rights.
Our goal is to have three volunteers there at all times, working in 3-hour shifts from noon-9pm. Please sign up for one or more shifts! Check out the chart at http://www.ircrc.org/activities.html to see which shift(s) are open and select the one(s) that work best with your schedule.

Training Session!
All volunteers are asked to attend a training session on Monday, July 16, 7:00-8:00pm at the Tippecanoe County Public Library in downtown Lafayette. Even if you have worked the booth before, we ask that you attend. First-timers will be able to stay after 8pm to ask further questions.
Never worked at the county fair booth before? Don't be shy or hesitant about this new opportunity! Our shifts will include experienced volunteers.
