Greetings!

We have had a busy few weeks since our Art Contest awards ceremony!

George won a big national award from arts educators and we visited Oklahoma A+ schools outside of Oklahoma City.

We are very excited about the upcoming possibilities for Louisiana education and we hope you will take the time to learn more.

    Louisiana Visit Oklahoma A+ Schools
    OK

On February 26 - 28, 2012, the Rodrigue Foundation teamed up with representatives from Louisiana State University and Baton Rouge's Academic Distinction Fund for an exploratory trip to visit Oklahoma A+ Schools.

Oklahoma A+ Schools is a diverse network of 70 public, private and charter schools with a mission to nurture creativity in every learner through a research based and fully integrated arts education system.

We are very hopeful that we will have our own Louisiana A+ network functioning in the near future!

    Bill Clinton Endorses A+ Model
    Clinton

Recently, President Bill Clinton showed his support for the A+ Arts Integration model when he endorsed Arkansas A+ in Little Rock Arkansas.

Arkansas A+ Schools are using Oklahoma A+ Schools as a model and they are trying to make a network of arts-integrated schools in their state a reality.

GRFA is offering an exclusive opportunity for non-profits to raise funds for their organization through a special print sales program.

GRFA will allow the purchase of a signed Rodrigue Blue Dog silkscreen print of your choice for $500. In the past two years, over 400 charity organizations have participated and raised nearly $1 million dollars at their charity auctions.

As part of this unique program, if the print you purchase does not provide the organization with funds exceeding the original $500 investment, GRFA will accept the print's return and refund the $500.
