We were so happy to hand out over $45,000 in college scholarships and awards to our 16 finalists from across Louisiana. This year our winners came from a pool of 424 entries from 114 cities across Louisiana.

Look at these great photos from our Monroe, LA visit last week! First, the Masur Museum opened their showing of both Rodrigue Blue Dog paintings from the New Orleans Museum of Art and of our Art Contest finalists' artwork. (Both collections will continue to tour the state this year)

Plus, we enjoyed an amazing sidewalk chalk event with elementary students from the area. Then, before we left town, we visited West Ouachita High School to give them an art lecture and donate to their art students a year's worth of art supplies from George's Art Closet!

GRFA is offering an exclusive opportunity for non-profits to raise funds for their organization through a special print sales program. GRFA will allow the purchase of a signed Rodrigue Blue Dog silkscreen print of your choice for $500. In the past two years, over 400 charity organizations have participated and raised nearly $1 million dollars at their charity auctions.

As part of this unique program, if the print you purchase does not provide the organization with funds exceeding the original $500 investment, GRFA will accept the print's return and refund the $500.
