November 15th is
America Recycle Day
Since 1997, communities across the country have come together on November 15 to celebrate America Recycles Day. America Recycles Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to the promotion of recycling programs in the United States. One day to inform and educate. One day to get our neighbors, friends and community leaders excited about what can be accomplished when we all work together.
In support of America Recycles Day and Disney's Friends for Change, Disney Stores at Clackamas Town Center and Washington Square are collecting t-shirts to be recycled and turned into paper. Bring in a t-shirt to a Disney Store location between Nov.11-Nov.15 to recycle and receive a special discount.

Join Community Warehouse's "Home For the Holidays" Program and Help Local Families
How can you help these families create a home?
Look through your cupboards for extra pots and pans, cooking utensils, can openers and bath towels (our most needed items) and donate them to Community Warehouse. We'll use your donations to pack boxes of basic household goods for our clients. Invite your neighbors, friends, and colleagues to join in!
Thank you for helping those families create a true "Home for the Holidays."
Community Warehouse is the only agency in the greater Portland area that provides this service to low income individuals and falies. We serve over 6,000 people per year, yet there are still hundreds of families on the waiting list.
