City to Review Multiple Revitalization Initiatives

The Del Mar City Council will review many downtown revitalization initiatives this Monday night. Included are regulations related to downtown parking, signage, and employee/square footage ratios. Click Here for more details.
The City Council also will be discussing the Tourist Occupancy Tax (TOT) rate increase proposed for the November ballot. Click Here for more details.
In addition, Brian Mooney, Interim Planning and Community Development Director, will be proposing a new planning process for downtown Del Mar and adoption of a resolution establishing an Ad Hoc Village Center District Specific Plan and Form Based Code Advisory Committee. DMVA Launches Interactive Downtown Map and Directory at www.delmarmainstreet.com
Newest Website Upgrade Benefits Village Businesses

DMVA has created an invaluable web resource for residents, visitors and businesses in the Village of Del Mar. This website addition involves an interactive map that allows users to navigate local Del Mar businesses by location or category simply by "mousing" over a downtown map and/or menu. Users can download directions and phone numbers for each downtown business. In addition, vacant building are identified to help promote new business opportunities in Del Mar.
