DEL MAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING Downtown Revitalization Municipal Code Amendments

This important City Council meeting will include review and public comment on key municipal code amendments regarding downtown revitalization that may impact your business. The possible amendments include the following:
- Establishment of an allowance for blade signs extending over sidewalk areas located in a public right-of-way
- Establishment of a process and standards of review for Common, Shared and Off-Site Parking Permits
- Establishment of a set of Horizontal Zoning Regulations for the downtown
- Establishment of Minimum Employee Work Space Area requirements for downtown businesses
- Establishment of an In-Lieu Parking Program as an option for satisfying a portion of a project's off-street parking requirements
- Modification of existing parking requirements to allow for the reduction in the number of parking spaces, where modification is required to meet Americans with Disability Act (ADA) parking space requirements
