Headline: Unprecedented Vaccine Campaign to begin September 10
 They are about to pull it off.
Health officials are mobilizing a massive swine flu vaccination campaign that will be, by their own admission, "massive in scope" -- and has a huge potential for complications. The campaign aims to vaccinate at least half the country's population within months. The US has never tried to vaccinate so many people so quickly with a completely untested vaccine.
The CDC is formulating a $4.8 million multimedia campaign to encourage people to get vaccinated and help alleviate concerns and confusion, including radio and television public service announcements, print ads, and messages delivered via Twitter, RSS feeds and video podcasts on YouTube. Headline: Tamiflu worse than the flu
 The UK Government is refusing to change its swine flu policy after experts said healthy people should not be given Tamiflu. The WHO advice directly contradicts British policy on the issue. The WHO said most patients were experiencing typical flu symptoms and would get better within a week should not be given Tamiflu. "Healthy patients with uncomplicated illness need not be treated with antivirals." There have also been claims that massive use of Tamiflu will increase mutants and create viruses resistant to the drug.
Side effects of the drug include serious allergic reactions, bizarre behavior and suicidal tendencies in children. |

KEY Headline: Will You Have A Choice?
 The World Health Organization has issued a binding 'recommendation' to all member countries requiring them to institute mandatory vaccination programs.
Under an existing multilateral agreement this formally invokes each state's pandemic plan and puts coordination under control of WHO.
For some European states the pandemic plan includes setting aside government as normal and ruling the country by a special council under control of the EU and WHO. France has already announced that it will effect a move to military rule beginning in September.
The global pandemic vaccination program will begin somewhere around the end of September and last about two months.
Many countries remain quiet about mandatory vaccination, simply saying they will make vaccination 'available' to all on a priority basis. But Greece and Switzerland have already announced that their programs will be mandatory and enforced by the military. There are unconfirmed reports that Norway and Israel have done the same.
The United States is preparing for military 'assisted' mandatory vaccination but has not explicitly declared its intentions to the public. Read full report. |
