greenheart-club-1

In our commitment to continue being the "Green Heart" of cultural exchange, we are excited to be launching the Greenheart Club for all travel abroad high school and teach abroad participants.

Create a cultural exchange experience with a positive social and environmental impact by creating your own project during your program overseas. Participants can track volunteer hours with the Greenheart Club, earn certificates, eco-fair trade gifts and project grants up to $500.

Volunteers Make Positive Environmental Impact in Kenya
kenya-volunteer-gh"Danny and I have now completed one very busy week working at the Maasailand Community Development Project in Kenya. It's been a great start to our five weeks out here. As one might expect, we've also experienced many of the problems that occur being based in a remote location. Nevertheless, so far we've made a composting bin, a system for checking roof-tank water levels, a shelter for the generator and started on a new wall using recycled plastic containers. We're working on a new vegetable garden and are discussing further farming improvements for the site."
