1. After you are signed up to volunteer at The Big E via the instructions listed on on our Big E webpage...
2. Use your login and password to get to the sign up calendar.
3. Click "Calendars'
4. Choose the date you wish to attend (9/4 or 9/7)
5. Find "Big E" (on that date)
6. Click "Schedule Me" and follow the instructions to complete.

Greetings!
For those of you who have volunteered in past year, you know we listen to your every request made during our debriefing sessions... Once again we have enhanced your Big E volunteer experience.
- Holding 2 Orientation Days/Times - Please sign up for either Sept 4th or 7th using your volunteer log in credentials from our website www.nhgsa.com/bige.[see info to the left.]
- Helping Nervous "Newbies" - We have recorded two video interviews with the "Sues" to help alleviate some of the anxiety that new volunteers feel. The "Sues" are now into their 3rd year volunteering, but remember vividly their 1st time. [click here to hear about their insight videos Part I & Part II.]
- Upgraded Living Conditions - Yup, last year's hotel was scary. We are now staying at the lovely Candlewood Suites. Click here for a video overview of the hotel. [Note: If you would like to book a room at our group rate, you need to contact us and we need cash-in-hand by Sept 4th. Visit the "Volunteer Information" portion of our website for details.]
- Better Organized Brochure System - Although we work year after year to better your ability to walk in, volunteer a 3 hour shift, and fully understand our organizational system...we do understand that finding one brochure from 200 can be a daunting task when standing with a guest. Here are some tips to help:
- Attend the Orientation Training. Kelly will be giving a full brochure account with rack maps and lists of all brochures available.
- Review online information prior to arriving onsite.
- Ask your onsite Manager for help! We are all very well versed with where the brochures are located!
- Know there is a method to this madness! We work hard to solicit, label, and organize brochure that best suite the needs of our Big E guests.
- Load In Appreciation... Load in is yeoman's work. Nathan, a first-timer at the Big E, recounted his Load in experience. You can also view our pictures and videos will help you appreciate this daunting task of trucks, fork lifts, sweat, and fun.
Below are our current OPEN volunteer shifts, along with a quick description of what to expect. If you find yourself intrigued....but are still unsure*...give us a call, we'll be happy to help [talk you into] volunteering! Call 603-621-0638 ask for Judi.

Volunteers Needed for the 2012 Big E
For details about volunteering at the NH Tourism Booth at the Big E please visit www.nhgsa.com/bige.  There you will find all the information you need to make volunteer decisions on dates, times, and places to stay (if you choose to do multi-days) etc.
Anyone who lives in or works for a New Hampshire company and has a passion for answering guest questions is invited to join in the fun! Whether you have been a volunteer for 30+ years or if this is your first year, you will feel welcome!
We encourage you to come volunteer 3 hours, enjoy The Big E, stay the night, and volunteer the next day for 3 mor e hours and enjoy more of The Big E. This gives you the best experience. Whether you volunteer for 1 shift (3 hours) or multiple shifts, all volunteers are welcome. Each volunteer received 1 free ticket to The Big E for each day they volunteer!
