New Volunteer Opportunities
Special Meeting Event NHGSA was asked to manage a small meeting at the Courtyard by Marriott's Manchester-Boston Regional Airport Hotel to add value and hospitality. Judi is looking for 2 GSAs (1 per shift) to assist her with registration and meeting flow / logistics on August 9th from 8:30am-11:30am & 11:30am - 2:30pm. These volunteer hours will count as Special Event hours. Click here for more information. Since we are short on time and I am headed out for a few days, there will be no "opening date" for this sign-up opportunity. You may sign up now. -------------------------- GSAs in Dover NH? Judi, Nathan and I recently met with our "old-friend" Molly Hodgson-Smith, now the Executive Director of the Dover Chamber of Commerce to discuss ideas of how NHGSA could train the chamber volunteers who greet guests, add new volunteers to the mix and we also discussed how we would work with the Chamber, the City, and the Train Station volunteers! Can you see me (Kelly) in the photo? I'm the super cool one attending virtually on Judi's computer. Please let Kelly know if volunteering in Dover is of interest to you.

GSA Recommendation When Visiting NH
The last stop on our GSA Dover Tour was Harvey's Bakery & Coffee Shop. The original business, owned by Harvey Bernier, opened up in 1932. Ray Guillemette worked for Harvey while still in high school, and later assumed ownership of Harvey's Bakery. In 1974 Ray opened up Harvey's Coffee Shop right next door to the bakery. Ray's wife Jackie, along with his three daughters, Pam, Susan and Karen joined the business during the 70's. In 1984 Ray's son Brad joined the business as a master baker. Due to the the great growth of the bakery, they later moved to a production facility outside of the downtown area. Ray still goes in to bake everyday.
