Greetings!
Ever have one of those days when you knew you should go to the dump, but it's pouring, and you put it off to the next day, only wake up the next morning to find that your trash is scattered all over your entire yard? AND your decorative solar lamp post is shattered on your rock walk? AND you neglected to notice all this before you let the dogs out.... for a trash feast? Argh -- guess I learned my lesson about procrastination and prioritizing the whole building a garage thing. It's sunny today! Great day for raking up all the little bits I missed during my rainy clean-up attempt. Kel
White Mountain Attractions Tour on June 18-21 is now open to all active GSAs. We ask that you are actively volunteering or are an industry person and have never been on this tour before. A Reminder from Honor Flight New England
The next Honor Flight out of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport will be on Sunday, June 17th. Supporters are asked to arrive at 6:40am. The flight will return to MHT at 10:40pm. They ask that you "come and give our hereos the send off they deserve." Honor Flights are special flights to transport America's veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit their respective memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices. Top priority is given to America's most senior heroes - survivors of World War II and any veteran with a terminal illness. www.honorflightnewengland.org
Check to see what volunteer shifts are available at MHT for the booth and walk-about or attend.

Day in the Life of a GSA Blog
Two Beautiful Days in the Lakes Region
DAY 1: Arriving at the Inns at Mill Falls' Church Landing I had anticipated I would be heading on a journey through the lakes region. I glanced at the itinerary when I arrived and quickly realized that after four years of school there, I had only visited about 3 of the stops on the trip, including PSU. As we waited to board the bus, I recognized a lot of familiar faces. GSAs, State Visitor Center Employees, and even a few of our GSA training Speakers. It was quite the crew (we would soon learn how difficult it would be to keep this particular group on schedule and on task!) After a quick breakfast we headed onto the Moose Tour bus where our charismatic driver Larry was waiting to greet us.

NH VISITOR CENTER NEWS Blog
By: Moe Demers, GSA Comfort Inn Manchester Class of 2011
and Elaine Demers, Class 2011
Last night we logged in for another GSA volunteer shift at the NH Information Booth at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and just before 9:00 an elderly lady came to the booth all distraught. She was going to Leominster and her son who was supposed to pick her up was not there. Helped her try to call him only to reach an answering machine. Had him paged twice. Tried calling various ground transport providers with no luck. Flagged down a Londonderry airport cop and we talked to her together trying to figure something out. Just then her daughter-in-law walked in saying they were trying to call her on her cell phone.
Find out what happened with Moe and Elaine...

Weathervane Offers Delectable Food for Any Palate
Submitted by Lorry Young, Granite State Ambassador
Class of 2006
Recently while touring Dover, NH with my fellow GSA's, we had lunch at the Weathervane Seafood Restaurant in Dover, NH. My selection was salmon with a crabmeat topping and a side of mixed fresh vegtables. Six other GSA's at our table had the same lunch, and we all agreed it was delectable. The food arrived piping hot, and the waitress was efficient and personable. I noticed some of the choices at the other tables that looked quite appetizing: shrimp scampi over pasta, salad topped with sliced chicken breast, and of course the old stand-by, fish and chips.
