Greetings!

Couple more weeks until school is out -- whoo hooo! My girlie and I are making our summer fun list... the best part about working from home is you can schedule your working hours around your recreational endeavors. As we play around NH, I plan to write up more than a few articles for the GSA Recommendations Blog. Now that I'm an 'official' employee, do you think Judi will see my 'play' time as crucial 'research' time for my blogs and pay me for those hours?  I'm guessing Judi and the board will think differently :)  Worth a try (tee hee)!

I've reposted the Big E Sign Up's Opening Information below again. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Kel

Psst... as per the new tour / hours policy, the White Mountain Attractions tour hours requirement is now at 125 with 16 being volunteered in the last 6 months. You must not have gone on this tour before as well to qualify.

At 11am on May 31st, the Castle in the Clouds tour will drop to 25 hours.

Big E Sign-up's Opening - Please Read
The NH Information Booth at the Big E will be open for sign-ups on June 1st at 6:00am. Judi and I are still working on the official GSA Big E page.. we will post more information there as we receive it.

There are two links on the GSA Big E site -- one for GSAs and one for non-GSA 'Community Friends'. If you know of a non-GSA that volunteered last year, please note that I changed their password for this year. Have them contact me (960-0272 or kbryer@gmail.com) to receive their new one or use the 'Forgot Password' function to retrieve it. They will login to our GSA Online Communication's System (same as GSAs).

For new folks or those who did not volunteer last year, they will click the non-GSA registration link at www.nhgsa.com/bige. This step may be done prior to the June 1st opening. This will allow them to have their login/password available before hand.

The Rock'n Rib Fest is still looking for active GSAs to volunteer. After your shift, take a stroll around the grounds and get your mitts on some seriously messy and yummy grub!

Day in the Life of a GSA Blog

Have you checked out your favorite visitor center's  home page lately on NHGSA.com? You may be surprised to see some changes. Kelly and Judi are working hard to revamp these pages and update them with new and current information to keep you informed of any changes being made at these centers. You will see that the PSU visitor center pagehas been changed to include a training presentation that Jennifer Aldrich and Nathan created for student volunteers as well as anyone who is unfamiliar with the center.

What are our Volunteers Up To
We have BIG NEWS! Due to increased demands and limited space, AbracaDebra's has now moved from the Cousineau house in Manchester to a full commercial bakery. The bakery is located on the shores of Lake Winnisquam in Belmont, NH. We are still taking special orders via phone and internet. However, the new facility has allowed us to expand into increased production and local catering. In addition, a selection of our baked goods are being sold at Osborne's Agway Stores in Hooksett (behind K-Mart), Concord (on Sheep Davis Road) and Belmont on Route 3. You can get an idea of the treats that we are "cooking up" by visiting our web site at www.AbracaDebraNH.com.

C&J TRAILWAYS DOVER BUS TERMINAL

Yes, I love bus trips and especially love these great bus terminals that have sprung up all over New Hampshire....and free coffee, what's not to like. OK....I admit I take Boston Express (competition or friendly rivalry??) to Boston and just love the convenience.

They must have given us the "TOP BUS" today....you can just smell the newness, leather seats, leg room to die for....and the interior decoration....pink and gray and black make us "of a certain age" remember the 60's!
