Greetings!
Get to Know your Fellow GSAs
Some of you have expressed a desire to get to know more GSAs socially so I got to thinking... what if we feature individual GSAs in the newsletter and encourage trying a shift with someone new that perhaps you haven't met yet. If you would like to be featured, please email me at kbryer@gmail.com. It would be a paragraph or two on what you choose -- a bio about you, your interests/hobbies, skills, professional life... maybe even a how-to or fix it. So if you think you might like participate and maybe meet some new friends with shared interests, let me know. Here are a few upcoming prime-time single slot shifts at MHT -- it's a great place to start! There are many shifts at other centers and on Walk-About. You can rotate between the booth and walk-about during your shift if you all agree.
Saturday, February 11, noon-3 Tuesday, February 14, 6-9pm Saturday, February 25, 3-6pm Tuesday, February 28, 6-9pm Sunday, March 11, noon-3pm

Day in the Life of a Granite State Ambassador
NHGSAs Explore New Space at the Discovery Center On a beautiful sunny day, the GSAs finally visited the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord, NH. After a warm welcome from Gina Bowler, who helped develop our tour, Tiffany took over as our knowledgeable tour guide who showed us all around the new space and shared insider information on the construction process. Within the last year, the McAuliffe-Shepard Discover Center revamped much of their facility, even switching the main entrance from back to front, so to speak. We were amazed to learn about how they moved in the Crusader Jet which is prominently displayed in the center of the museum - they actually took down the plate glass windows on the far end of the building to bring it in piece-by-piece! The glass was down overnight so they had to buff up security - and it was the middle of winter so the alarm company kept calling that there was a temperature problem in the building!
