Greetings!
Happy Tween Day - You can thank me later!
My birthday wish for today was to have a snow day (and yes, that was one whopping candle) -- the economy boost was just a nice side effect but what I was really after was a good catch-up day at home in my pajamas. So slippers on and coffee at my side, here i am -- catching up!
I'm not celebrating alone -- Judi's birthday is tomorrow and her husband's was yesterday -- hense "tween day". We are just having one big virtual party. Judi, Ami, Nathan and a whole slew of GSAs had a great time at the Primary booth this week. They put out tons of information and photos on Facebook and our blog for all to see. Be sure and take a peek at the highlights below in the Primary Recap Section of the newsletter. Enjoy the snow! Kel

My First (In-The-Nation) Day with Granite State Ambassadors By: Nathan Pasquale, NHGSA Intern & Student PSU Today was my first day with the NH Granite State Ambassadors and immediately I realized what an amazing opportunity I have to work with such an interesting and important NH organization. It is NH Primary Week and this was the training for all front-line staff who serve at hotels, chambers, and visitor center around the state, especially the ones in Manchester including the temporary NHGSA "NH Primary" information booth at the Radisson Hotel (where the training was held), the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce visitor center. I was greeted with welcoming smiles and friendly hellos from the "GSAs" and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce staff members including President/CEO, Robin Comstock. The day continued with one amazing speaker to the next. From quirky stories about fringe candidates by David Tirrell-Wysocki, Executive Director from the Nackey Loeb School of Communications, to stories of "gotcha!" moments from the impressive "media panel" of Scott Tranchemontagne, Montagne Communications, Tom Griffith, WMUR-TV and Tai Freligh, NH Division of Travel and Tourism. Watch for Nathan's recap of his experience on the 9th & 10th at the primary on the "Day in the Life of a GSA" blog. Coming soon...

'Political tourists' crowd NH to get up close with the candidates
MANCHESTER, N.H. - When people go on vacation, they usually go to beaches, go skiing, or go sight-seeing. Not the tourists KSL encountered in New Hampshire. They're there for the politics - and the spectacle.
Manchester, N.H., is full of journalists, candidates and campaigners as Republican presidential hopefuls congregated for the state's primary election. But many among the crowd aren't connected to the campaigns or the media - they're just in town for the adventure, and to catch a glimpse of a rising star. Read article...

As NH residents, we have a responsibility to share our politics, like we share our beautiful scenery and history. WELCOME to NH! I Love It Here!
