Greetings!
It just occurred to me that in one week, 25 people will be descending on my unorganized home and there is some serious work to be done!! So if I drop off the radar next week, you can find me sorting the contents of a closet or cupboard that just might happen to be opened by someone...
We are FINALLY moving into the upstairs of our home this weekend. Can you see me dancing?! It's good and bad for the whole Thankgiving meal planning thing. If I survive next week, I WILL BE THANKFUL. When it's all over, I promise, I will reflect on how wonderful my family, friends and life are. I am truly blessed.
Part of my wonderful life includes all of you. Being and working with the Granite State Ambassadors has enriched my life more than you know. You inspire me and keep me passionate about the things that are important to our way of life.
I sincerely hope to see you all at the GSA Holiday Gathering at The Rock's Estate on December 13th. It's a beautiful drive and a spectacular property if you haven't been. Ami has been hard at work trying to find a bus to help with the travel. We will keep you posted.
Another fun thing about Bethlehem is that they have a special Christmas "Town of Bethlehem" stamp with a village scene that you can stamp on your Christmas card envelopes. Thank you Rita G for finding this information! The post office is at 2159 Main Street and is open 8:30am-noon and 1pm-5pm. Watch / read more on WMUR.
Thank you and have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Kel
The Live Free or Die Alliance has selected NHGSA to collaborate on their upcoming annual "Take A Chance" fundraiser. From November 29th through December 8th, the public is invited to enjoy a game of chance and support these two organizations that "go all in" for New Hampshire citizens. During these ten days, poker, roulette, black jack and other popular table games will be available at The Poker Room located at 1 Lafayette Road in Hampton Falls, and part of all proceeds will benefit the Granite State Ambassadors (NHGSA) and Live Free or Die Alliance (LFDA). The proceeds from this fundraiser are well-timed as the Granite State Ambassadors will be utilizing our share of the proceeds to develop and deliver a First in the Nation specialty training program for volunteers and employees who staff visitor centers, hotels, chambers, and other front lines throughout the state. This training program will be an extension of the NH Primary Information Booth that NHGSA volunteers have staffed since 1996 at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester. This booth provides support to those visiting NH specifically for the Primary, including TV and print media, campaign workers, volunteers, as well as the general public. NH Primary Training has been set for Wednesday, January 4th at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester. Visit our Primary Page for more details. Our NH Information Booth will be open from:
Fri Jan 6th - Tues Jan 10th. Booth shift hours will be: 5:30am-8:30am 8:30am-Noon Noon-3:30pm 3:30pm-6:30pm
6:30pm-9:30pm Sign up on the OCS! |

Day in the Life of a GSA Blog
Well, Planes and Automobile Anyway
GSAs in attendance included: Judi Window (blog author), Mel Schunemann, Lorry Young, & an Anonymous GSA
It was an historic day in Manchester New Hampshire! The Raymond Wieczorek Drive connecting the F.E. Everett Turnpike with Manchester-Boston Regional Airport was officially dedicated today. It has been my please to know Ray, my Mayor, my Executive Councilor... a man of the people. I was so happy to see him honored today.
The Granite State Ambassadors were mentioned as a premiere customer service component, along with the wonderful employees at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, by Airport Director, Mark Brewer in his remarks. He noted that 84% of the airport's passengers will now arrive at the airport via Manchester's "new front door" and we will be there to welcome them!
