Greetings!
HAPPY SNOLIAGE!
I sincerely hope everyone is doing all right today. I'm sure it's been a rough week for most. It was just a winter warning shot here in Thornton. Foliage was still intact and looked rather pretty nestled between the snow covered pines.
Our friends at Indian Head Resort are offering a special rate to those who were effected by the storm. Just $59 per night for 2 people, November 1-3 and Nov 6-10.
Remember Whitney who worked for NHGSA a couple years ago? She wrote a cute article on how Facebook brought communication to "Snowtober" victims.
I am feeling for Judi. This was her long awaited vacation week. It was to be full of yoga, relaxation and loads of "me time." While she did get loads of family time, it was cold and dark. When her power came back on yesterday, the organizing, cleaning bug got her and she's been in constant motion ever since. Remember, if you need anything at all to contact me at kbryer@gmail.com or 238-6764.
By now, I'm hoping that you have received word that the February calendar opening was postponed and will now happen on Monday, November 7th at 6am. *** For those of you without internet access, please find a computer buddy to assist you with the sign-up. I am able to help, but in fairness I do have to wait until I open the calendars to start signing you up. With several people to accommodate, your chances with me won't be a good as with a GSA internet buddy to get your requested time slots.
Happy Snoliage & stay warm!! Kel

Granite State Ambassador Recommendations
Submitted by Lorry Young, Granite State Ambassador Radisson Hotel Class of 2006
The Manning House once was a private residence, but upon Mrs. Manning's death, the home was donated to the church. The chapel and church were added later. The property is on ten acres of land currently owned by the Brookside Congregational Church, which is located at 2013 Elm Street in Manchester, NH. The second floor of the Manning House is office space for the church, and the downstairs area is used for gatherings for many functions. Read full blog article...
Inn at Pleasant Lake Treats You Like Royalty Submitted by Bernie Dann, Granite State Ambassador
We arrived at the Inn at Pleasant Lake on a perfectly early summer day. It was only a short distance out of New London, NH, 1.5 miles down a quite paved road. As we arrived the owner and his crew were just finishing the final touches to a beautiful rock wall with a patio and sidewalk to the entry. I couldn't stop myself from walking over and complementing them on their artistic work.
