Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Sock Hop Fundraiser. We had such an incredibly great time!! We were able to raise a little over $1,600!! We still have hopes of reaching our $3,000 goal to help maintain our educational programs for emerging and existing volunteers including certification training, tours, activities, operational costs and more. Your continued support and exceptional level of volunteerism is appreciated.

 Dear GSA friends,
Thanks so much for the wonderful cards, prayers, Mass cards, telephone calls & other communication. It was uplifting for me, a link to the outside, other than my dear devoted family. I can't deny that the whole thing was a trip to hell. The blessing was in the nursing & therapy staff who helped me return to good health. They told me, that I was a quick study. I believed them. I am so far advanced from that person many of you saw on 2 August. Praise the Lord. Still a way to go. I will get there. Peace and love to you all. Phyllis

A Day in the Life of a Granite State Ambassador
Merrimack Offers A Variety of Authentic Experiences
Recently the NH Granite State Ambassadors enjoyed a fun-filled day touring Merrimack, NH! Per our own mantra, it was a beautiful and sunny day to be out and about enjoying this little gem just south of Manchester.
Our first stop was NUThin' but Good Times, a huge indoor play space that caters to all types of families. The indoor play equipment is accessible to little tikes, older children and even adults - there is no age limit! There were a lot of features to keep anyone busy: mazes, activities, obstacle courses, slides, and even a soft-play structure for toddlers under three years old. Manager Tony gave us a warm welcome and helped us to get into our stocking feet for the VIP tour!

Granite State Ambassador Recommendations
Weeping Willow Fine Arts is a Special NH Crafter Submitted by Kate Bashline, Granite State Ambassador Great Bay Class of 2001
Jewelry and fine art objects made by Diane Bennett of Weeping Willow Fine Arts are simply resplendent. Her jewelery is a delight to wear for its design and rich colors that highlight whatever you are wearing. It can be worn to work and play. The dichroic glass changes colors in a magical way. There is added enjoyment in the fact that you will always meet a nice person who just has to speak to you about your lovely jewelry. Diane and her process of dichroic glass have been featured on NH Chronicle. Her items are a true gift to yourself or others. Her prices are affordable. Her business and her art are a special NH story. |
