Greetings!
It's Leaf Peeping time!! I love Fall and I love getting my annual email from Betty Gagne at DTTD soliciting Official Leaf Peepers. It gives me yet another reason to enjoy the incredible scenery here in the White Mountains. Now that our rivers have quieted down, our roads repaired -- Life is pretty much back to normal here and we are ready to welcome our fall guests.
The other great thing that comes with Fall is fairs! I am a big agricultural fair fan hitting at least a couple every year. Then Judi introduced me to The Big E! Whoo - hoo, I hit the mother load of all fairs. I know I've said it before, but if you haven't been and love fairs -- it is a really good time. And volunteering in the NH Building is real hoot. The people in and out of the booth are wonderful and the atmosphere and camaraderie in the NH building really make the experience.
Hope to see you soon! Kel

MHT Customer Appreciation Day | | Sign up to Volunteer |
On OCTOBER 7, 2011 the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport will be hosting a day-long celebration of their very supportive and very loyal airport customers! The key purpose is to THANK CUSTOMERS WHO FLY MHT! There will be two shifts, 8-noon and noon-4. We would love to have 15-20 people per shift. The Orientation Date is October 5, 1-2:30pm. All hours for this event will be counted. Help us make this annual event a huge success! More info.... We are very sorry to have to announce that Mel Borrin passed away on September 8th from cancer. Mel was a friend and supporter of the Granite State Ambassadors. Annually, Mel and his wife Tina donated a full cruise aboard his luxury yacht on Lake Winnipesaukee to the GSAs with the most hours accumulated for that year. He volunteered a significant amount of time to the Lakes Region tourism industry. We have set up a memorium page where you can leave notes for his family and/or donate to the GSA Endowment Fund in memory of Mel. |
