Greetings!
Trivia Question: How can you leave New Hampshire, play in Massachusetts but still legally be in New Hampshire?

| | NH Booth Load In! | I am so excited to volunteer at the Big E this year!! As a rule, I grab some girlfriends and head down for a few days. By volunteering each day my admission is covered and when you split a hotel room 2-3 ways, it is a very inexpensive and fun get-a-way. No worries about parking either -- you park at an off-site (fenced and guarded) employee lot and take the shuttle right to the back of the NH Building where our information booth is. The shuttle drivers are great -- real personalities! They are almost as fun as the fair.
At the Big E - you can shop at vendors from tons of different countries; shop & sample treats in every state in New England; take in headline entertainment; animal & agricultural shows; amusement rides; museums; see a butter sculpture!; watch a Mardi Gras parade; spend an hour deciding what food to eat; visit a home show; even watch a circus.... I can't even mention it all. You really need to visit their website, www.thebige.com to really get the full flavor.

I did notice that there are some volunteer openings left, especially on the final weekend Sept 30-Oct 1. Which gets me thinking.... I should change the next calendar opening from Saturday the 1st to Monday the 3rd to allow those volunteering at The Big E to be a part of the opening. I will make that happen! Visit www.nhgsa.com/bige for more information on volunteering. Remember, you don't need to be a GSA to volunteer in the Information Booth in the NH Building so bring your spouse and/or friends along. Trivia Answer: When in the New Hampshire Building at The Big E, you are legally in New Hampshire. That means no sales tax and you are subject to our laws! Each of the New England States has a building that works the same way. I hope to see you there!!!! Kel
