Greetings!
Can you believe it? It's Big E time already! Like summer football practice for high schools and school shopping on vacation... it is time to plan for September and The Big E! Learn More...
This year should be as fun as ever. If this great weather holds we are looking at another year of record numbers. Did You Know 2010:
- Was the 3rd highest attendance in Big E history?
- Fairgoers consumed 45,000 cream puffs
 16,000 Craz-E Burgers (that is 25,600,000 calories!)- 1,300 gallons of Rondeau's dairy bar ice cream
- Exhibitors showed 793 dairy cattle
- Producing 32,000 lbs of milk
- 462 beef cattle
- 1,167 sheep
- 450 goats
- 159 llamas
- 263 alpacas
- 52 swine
- 52 teams....
Did You Know the 2010 NH Tourism Booth:
- 125.000 NH Tourism Industry Brochures given away
- 8,500 NH Lottery Bags given away
- 75 Posters (Moose & Airport) given away
 5,000 Sha'Me'Ga' Wood Nickels with visitnh.gov given away- 16 gallons of water consumed by NH Volunteers
- 1,228,418 people attended the Big E
- 982,734 people entered the NH Building
- 786,187 people approached the NH Tourism Booth
- 69 people volunteered at the NH Tourism Booth
- 24 Celebrity volunteers
- 343 Years of combined service at the Big E
- 356 'three-hour' volunteer shifts
- 1,068 volunteer hours served
- $22,267.80 dollars worth of volunteer service was provided
- Load in/out:
- 18 People
- 10 hours each
- 180 hours
- 750 hours of management service provided

Volunteers Needed for the 2011 Big E
For details about volunteering at the NH Tourism Booth at the Big E please visit www.nhgsa.com/bige.  There you will find all the information you need to make volunteer decisions on dates, times, and places to stay (if you choose to do multi-days) etc.
Anyone who lives in or works for a New Hampshire company and has a passion for answering guest questions is invited to join in the fun! Whether you have been a volunteer for 30+ years or if this is your first year, you will feel welcome!
We encourage you to come volunteer 3 hours, enjoy The Big E, stay the night, and volunteer the next day for 3 mor
e hours and enjoy more of The Big E. This gives you the best experience. Whether you volunteer for 1 shift (3 hours) or multiple shifts, all volunteers are welcome. Each volunteer received 1 free ticket to The Big E for each day they volunteer!
