Can you believe it? It's Big E time already! Like summer football practice for high schools and school shopping on vacation... it is time to plan for September and The Big E! Learn More...

This year should be as fun as ever. If this great weather holds we are looking at another year of record numbers. Did You Know 2010:
  • Was the 3rd highest attendance in Big E history?
  • Fairgoers consumed 45,000 cream puffs
  • Craz-E Burger16,000 Craz-E Burgers (that is 25,600,000 calories!)
  • 1,300 gallons of Rondeau's dairy bar ice cream
  • Exhibitors showed 793 dairy cattle
  • Producing 32,000 lbs of milk
  • 462 beef cattle
  • 1,167 sheep
  • 450 goats
  • 159 llamas

Volunteers Needed for the 2011 Big E

Volunteer at the NH Tourism Booth at the Big EThere you will find all the information you need to make volunteer decisions on dates, times, and places to stay (if you choose to do multi-days) etc.

Anyone who lives in or works for a New Hampshire company and has a passion for answering guest questions is invited to join in the fun! Whether you have been a volunteer for 30+ years or if this is your first year, you will feel welcome!

We encourage you to come volunteer 3 hours, enjoy The Big E, stay the night, and volunteer the next day for 3 mor
e hours and enjoy more of The Big E. This gives you the best experience. Whether you volunteer for 1 shift (3 hours) or multiple shifts, all volunteers are welcome. Each volunteer received 1 free ticket to The Big E for each day they volunteer!
