Hi Rick and Maria,
I'm a soft sculpture artist here in South Africa.
All together I think we made about thirty bears. We're still talking about it as one of the most therapeutic and enjoyable things we did together.
Regards from a cold starry winter night in South Africa.

Hi Maria and Rick!
I received my yummy Zentangle kit yesterday and found some quiet time to go through it! It is gorgeous! I love the paper, the box, the COLOR of the box - just beautiful! I'm going to sit with my 9 year old son this weekend and watch the DVD again with him. We recently zentangled on eggs we had blown and it was fabulous.
I learned so much from your DVD instruction as far as where to start and the most efficient way to turn the tile.
Thank you so much for this wonderful art form; it has taken me through some pretty tough stuff lately and for that I am grateful.
Sincerely, - J -----+-----
Hello Rick - thanks for your follow up - YES, my friend received it and is very please. She also has another friend who came over to visit and they ended up working on ZT and listening to the CD together...sounds like they are having lots of fun discovering the process and watching the instructional DVD. Good things! This is the best kind of gift to give, as it enhances the recipient's life and also can develop into something they share with friends who visit and the enjoyment is increased even more. Thanks to all of you at Zentangle, and take care! - Dorothy -----+-----
This past weekend, I took a class from Nancy Smith, CZT, here in Littleton, CO. I had been intrigued by Zentangle for some time, but now that I have taken the class, it's all I want to do! :) Thank you for creating this fun & wonderful art form!

P.S. The interest in Zentangle as an art form is growing. For someone who wasn't interested in a job, I've sure been busy giving classes . . . without advertising. . . and my students are so enthusiastic . . . the atmosphere is electric! Woo hoo! -----+-----
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your stunning art, and your generosity of sharing your skills. I am so brand new to this, I've done two! But, I am so totally blown away I can't hardly stand it. Please continue to let people know they can do this because I don't know that I can, but I am going to try and try and try. I got the kit and I am off and running. So kind of you to share not only the simple ones, but the really cool ones too.

Hi Rick and Maria, Last year this double bass was donated to my classroom. It was in rough shape, broken strings etc. The person who donated it thought maybe I could use it for an art project. My middle school students made zentangles and then used mod podge to glue and seal them onto the surface. I think they did a great job. Janet Reynolds St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School Houston, TX

Thank you all so much for sending and sharing those thoughts and images!
