March 27, 2012

Greetings!

Today we are happy to introduce publicly a new product that is inspiring some awesome creativity, our round Zendala tile set.

Take a look below to see some beautiful images.

We also have links to more beautiful images and a few other tidbits to share.

Zendala Set

Mandala meets Zentangle in a harmonious union that will positively inspire you to put pen to paper.

Zendala tiles are about 4-5/8" (117mm) diameter. They are die cut with our familiar deckle edge and use the same paper as our square white tiles.

Each Zendala set has twenty-one tiles, eighteen beautifully pre-strung tiles with inspiring strings (2 sets of nine strings) and three blanks.

For the remainder of March and all of April, Zendala Sets will be available from Certified Zentangle Teachers (CZT). You can find a listing of our CZTs around the world here.

These Zendala Sets will not be available in our online store until May 1, 2012.

This is the tin which holds your Zendala tiles:

And here's a look at how much fun we've already been having:

These are just six of the strings (darkened in Photoshop so you could see them). We had a lot of fun creating these. Some divide the circle in fourths, some in fifths and some in sixths.

They are so inspiring to tangle and shade. Talk about not having an up or a down!

We blogged about our recent experiences in NYC as we talked with teachers about Zentangle and as we looked for new tangle inspirations.

We look forward to seeing what you will come up with on these new Zendala tiles!

FYI, both the August 2012 and September 2012 CZT training seminars are over 1/3 full in less than one week. If you are considering this opportunity, we encourage you to register soon. Detail trail begins here.

We are grateful to share this wonderful adventure with you.

Best,

Rick and Maria
