Certified Zentangle Teacher Training - Fall 2009
People came from Canada, Scotland, locally and from all over the U.S. We enjoyed perfect New England Fall weather the whole time. Here we are outside our mansion retreat center.
Many people brought their Zentangles and Zentangle-inspired creations.
The ballroom was our classroom. The entire course was translated into American Sign Language. Those who didn't sit at tables found a place in the alcoves. Some earlier CZT grads return to tell their stories. Here's Rick handing out materials and . . . Maria applauding . . . Molly as she demonstrates one of her tangles. Everyone had a great time, whether inside . . . . . . or outside on the patio. Here, Iris, Nancy and Rachel are apply finish to name tags on which everyone drew Zentangles. Here we are relaxing after class with Nancy. Nancy works with us, keeps us in line, and helps make sure everything gets done. Thank you, Nancy.
We had a surprise guest help with our raffle, meet everyone and support a new generation of Zentangle artists. During the seminar, everyone added Zentangle patterns to a group Zentangle which a lucky CZT won. Maria painted a beautiful border. Here's a detail look. We cannot describe how grateful we are to have shared this time with our friends and family. We feel like the luckiest people in the world.

Once again, thank you all for being part of this wonderful adventure with us.
See you soon.
Best regards,
Rick and Maria
