| Schooner Race
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gazela returned safely from her appearances in Baltimore and Portsmouth, VA. Due to nice winds, she crossed the finish line at 0339 on Friday. We've been getting photo links and the Schooner Race folks have posted the race results. Check out these links:
As more pictures arrive, we'll link them into the Guild website. Movie clips will be posted on the Guild site soon. |
| Haunted Ship
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Haunted Ship volunteers still needed - signup sheets are on the bulletin board on Gazela (near the heads). You don't need to be Guild members to help with this event. Trained professionals will encourage screaming, moaning, and various amputations to improve your performance.
Dress Rehearsal is next Thursday (10/25) and the performances will start Friday 10/26.
The committee, led by Melissa Black and Chris Simmons, are selling ads for a playbill. Grab a form off our website and put in your own two cents (or more?). Help the Guild raise money by reaching out to your friends, family, and businesses.

Meerwald Opportunity
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ From Mitch Brodkin: For those interested in helping with downrigging the A.J. Meerwald we will be getting started on Mon. Oct. 29th (so there is no conflict with Gazela). they can email me at MBrodkin@bayshorediscovery.org or call the office 856-785-2060 ext 129 for more information. I know that there were several people interested in the rig and in the downrigging. The whole process only takes three days (small rig).
