Theresa Hall
Theresa is an outstanding trip organizer. I say this with authority because I have gone on some of her trips before.
Not only are her trips well organized with a great itinerary, they are always priced very reasonably. I don't know her secret to keeping the price so low and include so much, but she can really do it...WOW!
This is one you don't want to miss. Space is limited...the deluxe motorcoach only has so many seats!

Great Itinerary
Little Rock Canyon National Preserve
Fort Payne, Alabama
You will see the deepest gorge east of the Rocky Mountains with breathtaking waterfalls carved into the heart of Lookout Mountain. Little River is unique because it flows for most of its length atop Lookout Mountain in northeast Alabama. Forested uplands, waterfalls, canyon rims and bluffs, pools, boulders, and sandstone cliffs offer settings for a variety of recreational activities. Natural resources and cultural heritage come together to tell the story of the Preserve, a special place in the Southern Appalachians.

DeSoto Falls on Lookout Mountain
Fort Payne, Alabama
Here, there are a number of overlooks to view the falls, plus hiking trails that take you along the Little River to a 360 yard boardwalk. You will enjoy the beauty of nature and the gifts that it offers on the lovely trails of DeSoto State Park. Please remember that Alabama State Parks preserve land for the benefit of present and future generations.
________________________________
Cathedral Caverns State Park
Woodville, Alabama
You will enter a magnificent cave that spreads across 14 acres featuring a massive forest of stalagmites and ceilings dripping with stalactites.
The first thing you notice about Cathedral Caverns is the massive entrance. The huge opening measures 126 feet wide and 25 feet high. And it gets even better. Inside the cavern, you will find Big Rock Canyon, Mystery River and some of the most beautiful formations Mother Nature has ever created. Among them, you will see Stalagmite Mountain, The Frozen Waterfall and Goliath, a huge stalagmite column that reaches the ceiling of the cave some 45 feet above!

Rock City Gardens
Lookout Mountain, Georgia
We will end the weekend with a trip to the top of Lookout Mountain, where we will see a garden of plants and unique rock formations with paved trails winding over, under and around rock formations.
Rock City is a true marvel of nature featuring massive ancient rock formations, gardens with over 400 native plant species, and breathtaking "See 7 States" panoramic views. |
