FOR ALL STUDENTS MARCHING:
- Boys: dark pants
- Girls: dark skirt
- Comfortable shoes
- Parade T-shirt distributed for the Learn-a-Thon
- Bring a water bottle
- If the weather is cool, wear a long-sleeve white shirt under your parade shirt
- For emergencies only during the parade, a staff member can be reached at 203-605-1718
FOR STUDENTS TAKING THE BUS FROM AND/OR BACK TO SAR ACADEMY:
- 11:15AM: Students meet at SAR
- 11:45AM: Buses depart from SAR
- 3:00PM: Approximate return time to SAR
- The SAR hotline (718-518-2977) will be updated with any changes to our return time
FOR STUDENTS MEETING SAR IN MANHATTAN:
- Students MUST BE registered for the parade
- 12:45 PM: Meet SAR on 52nd Street between 5th and Madison Avenues (closer to 5th)
- 1:15 PM: SAR begins march up 5th Avenue
FOR STUDENTS MEETING PARENTS IN MANHATTAN AT THE END OF THE PARADE:
The Parade will end at Madison Avenue at 74th Street. Children may NOT be taken off the line before the end of the Parade. If you are taking your child with you after the parade, please meet us at the corner of 74th and Madison Avenue and sign your child out with the appropriate administrator:
