Looking for Healthy Stories
Oh so much has happened since last we wrote. Lou has had two chemo treatments (3 weeks apart). While on one hand he weathered them quite well ... no nausea, no constipation, no diarrhea, he felt "weak as a kitten" he said, and wasn't up for a lot of running around.
At the same time, we've done a lot of things to super-charge his immune system, and a few things to attack the cancer itself. However , the chemo compromised his immune system so that he came down with pneumonia again ... resulting in another visit to the hospital. Yeh!
The good news is that Lou has decided ... no more chemo!
That gives us a chance to beef up the body so it can heal itself. I'll share with you some of the things we're doing so that if you have ideas or resources that we don't know about yet, that you know about, we'd be happy to hear about them.
I know Lou would like to hear of other situations where folks chose no chemo and did beautifully. We've learned of many situations already, but you can never have enough inspirational stories and insightful resources.
So if you have a friend, family member or personal experience that you would like to share, feel free to call, come by or write. (See contact info below.) Lou loves to hear from, and visit with, folks. It makes him feel more "alive".
