Do you BLOG?

Everyone's doing it...

Blogging hit mainstream during the last 5 years and mainly revolved around political campaigns.  Now, it seems millions of people around the world feel the need to let their electronic voice be heard especially when it comes to travel.  Tripadvisor and I GO YOU GO have stood out as leaders in the travel sector but there are many more sites out there.

Next time you are web surfing, check out the following...

What does the future hold?
Hopefully more marketing dollars...
board meeting1
Our destination has the opportunity to receive additional marketing money thanks to a 2 for 1 match by the State of South Carolina.  Our president, Dan Blumenstock, made a great presentation at our October meeting regarding a new proposal for area hotels.  We also invited all General Managers to attend a make-up session that was held on October 29.  Special thanks to those properites that have already signed up to participate!

For this to program to work, we need participation from all area lodging properties.  If you have not heard about the program or would like to see the presentation, please contact Catherine Dority.
Give Your Employees the Gift of Charleston
board meeting1 The gift that gives back to your customers!

What better gift to give your employees than a Be a Tourist in Your Own Town pass.  Passes are on sale now and there are discounts for bulk purchases.  Please contact Liz Rennie today!
