A New Attitude in 2010

With the new year, the real estate industry is seeing a sustained recovery. Real estate is getting back on it's feet!
All of us in real estate have felt the effects of the down market. Sales have been down and the work load seems to have doubled. If you're reading this article, YOU MADE IT THROUGH THE WORST OF IT!
We now are seeing increased interest and sales, low interest rates, and good inventory to help spur our comeback. It is up to you to plan your success! It will not happen by itself. You need to map out your marketing and game plan. Don't wait for the business, go and get it!

Have you ever heard someone say, "If it were easy, everybody would be doing it." Truer words have never be spoken. We practice real estate. It is an ever-changing industry that requires us to constantly educate ourselves and keep up on the latest conditions. Become a student. Learn about the changes in the lending industry and in the appraisal industry. What you don't know could hurt your clients. Become a true expert in real estate.
I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone. Dare to dream of becoming more than you are today. It can be scary, but at the end of it you won't be asking, "what if." You will never know unless you try.

Company Procedures are Important!
Email submission of files is a quick and easy way for agents to efficient and compliant to broker requirements. Agents need to follow the submission guidelines spelled out in the Agent Virtual Office on OwnerLandRealty.com. The guidelines tell you all the required documents that need to be submitted in ONE PDF file to your manager in a timely manner. You may also have additional documents not in the list. I always recommend you include anything that you feel is relevant to the file. Our company constantly strives to keep costs down in order to keep our agents costs down. If we need to spend added time on combining multiple attachments to make one file before review, it could effect your low closing fees! For your convenience, we are adding a file checklist to the Agent Virtual Office. You can simply check off the documents as you add them to your files. CLICK HERE to see the checklist. Give a little attention and do your part!

| Attn: Agents! New Mail Policy |
Changes on how we process agents' mail. Effective immediately, we have a new policy regarding the way the corporate office handles mail received for OwnerLand Agents.
Agents are now responsible for contacting the office to find out if there is any mail. Agents may call or stop by the office to check on their mail. Soon there will be a designated place for mail, but until then...agents' mail will be stacked on the front desk, until we receive instructions from the agent on what to do with their mail.
If agents would like us to mail their mail to them, they will be responsible for any handling and postage costs and an invoice will be included when we mail it to them.
Agents are no longer contacted when mail comes into the office.
Our goal is to keep all costs as low as possible, so that we can continue paying the highest possible commissions to our agents.
