Agent OPEN HOUSE - quarterly get-together

Thursday, February 19th from 10am to 5pm, OwnerLand Realty is hosting the quarterly Agent Open House at our corporate office in Springdale.

This is a great time to come and see the OwnerLand agents you know and get to know the agents you don't know! 

There will be food and light refreshments all day so come join the fun!

MARKETING STRATEGY and TRAINING WORKSHOPS

On Scheduled Thursdays, we will be holding a marketing strategy workshop and agent training.  All new agent orientations will be held on this day as well.  New agents must attend both workshops, but it's not necessary to attend both in one day.  Agents can attend one workshop or both as seating allows.

RSVP is recommended as seating is limited.

There will be an alternate training day each month to accommodate those who are unable to attend Thursday sessions.

Changes and additions made to the MLS rules and regulations!

New Rules and Regulations link <----

There have been several new and revised rules made that effect our MLS and industry.  Be sure to read the new information at the link provided above.

These rules go into effect IMMEDIATELY!



New Earnest Money Provisions Effective
April 7, 2009


Effective April 7, brokers will be able to include new language in their purchase agreements addressing disputed earnest money. This provision (which is optional) will give the parties two years from the date the earnest money was deposited in the broker's trust account to provide the broker with either written instructions on how it is to be disbursed or notice that legal action has been filed with the courts. If neither of these is provided to the broker, the broker can remit the earnest money to the purchaser with no further notice to the seller.

VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
Cost to Agent: (based on one week intervals (Monday - Friday)

  • 6-20 hours: $12/hr
