Saying goodbye to Brew Crew member Tyler Fitzpatrick...
Tyler joined us in the spring of 2011 as a summer retail/brewery worker, and at the end of the summer we kept him on as a production assistant, who eventually became an assistant brewer...and is now leaving us as a full fledged brewer to join the growing ranks of Wormtown Brewery under the guidance of Master Brewer and industry friend, Ben Roesch.
Tyler has worked hard to grow from a summer worker to full blown brewer. While at Cape Cod Beer he completed his American Brewers Guild coursework and worked hard learning everything he could. While we are sad to see him go, we're happy he will be working with a great brewer like Ben at Wormtown. Friday 9/31 will be Tyler's last day.. tho we're sure he'll be back to visit. So if you see him, wish him good luck! |

Thanks to the Town of Barnstable,
for approving us to sell beers by the pint.
Why are we doing this?
Rest assured that we have no intention to become a bar or restaurant, but we would like the opportunity to expand our customer's experience, as well as our ability to host more events here for you, our customers, and local charities.
Now don't rush down here looking to have a beer... because we are still waiting to hear back from the state. Stay Tuned...more soon.

You Win Some.. You Lose Some...
This one we did not win....
Admittedly, we're just slightly bummed to find out that we were NOT one of the 12 businesses chosen as part of the Mission: Small Business $250k grant. Sadly also, there were NO BREWERIES who won either (but lots that we know who applied). The good news is that the application process made us think about our future (which is quite bright!) and we've got a few things we're working on for the "off season".
Thanks VERY MUCH to all those who wrote KIND THINGS about us as part of the app process, and those who voted and asked their friends to vote. We value your efforts, opinions and cherish that fact that you were willing to take time out to do so! We greatly appreciate the support this community gives us! Cheers!
