Join us once again in saying NO to GREEN BEER!
NO GREEN BEER..OK?

A few years before there was a Cape Cod Beer, I was asked to tint an entire keg of Bud green...ok more like TOLD to tint a keg of beer green...and while it went against every fiber of my being, I went about it scientifically, even going as far as calling the company that made green food dye (you know the stuff..four bottles: red, green, blue and yellow) and even talked to the guy at the factory who made the green dye.

From that day forward I SWORE that I would not only not make another keg of green beer - I would advocate AGAINST it.  So, no matter what you drink on "the day everyone is Irish"..whether it be Cape Cod Beer, Harp, Guiness, Murphy's, Smithwick's or Bud...for goodness sake..
DON'T DRINK GREEN BEER!

ROLL THE ROCK 2011:

HELP US RAISE MONEY FOR LOCAL CHARITIES

Last year was our very first year, and we showed up with a rag tag group of bowlers (aka the brew crew).  Our goal was to dazzle them with our cool bowling shirts (ala Charlie Sheen) with the hopes that they would not notice that we were not the best bowlers.  I guess it worked!  We won "best dressed" which I think was a new award (!)..and also came in THIRD PLACE!

Once again we have put together THREE TEAMS...and hope to raise a few beers...a few bucks... and a few smiles at Roll the Rock 2011.

We are bowling for the Cape & Island United Way!  And we've got a few team members rolling for Hospice and Palliative Care..Both Great LOCAL causes!  If you would like to make a donation, please call MJ or Beth @ 508-790-4200

Or come by and toast our team spirit on Sunday at Ryan Family Amusements in Yarmouth from 1pm to 6pm, where there are 3 Cape Cod Beers on Tap: Red, Blonde & IPA

Introducing Stock 'Stout

made with Beanstock Coffee

We met John and Jon from Beanstock quite a few years ago while serving beer at a food event and started selling their coffee in our retail shop shortly thereafter.  Admittedly, coffee is one of our second favorite beverages, and the folks at Beanstock make some mighty fine coffee, so we talked about making a coffee beer together .. and FINALLY THAT TIME HAS COME!

Cape Cod Beer and Beanstock Coffee Roasters are proud to bring you a collaborative brew that we call 'Stock Stout: a locally brewed milk stout infused with locally roasted Beanstock Bali Blue Moon Organic Coffee.

'Stock Stout will be packaged in champagne bottles and available starting on 3/23/11, in two locations only: at the brewery directly, and at Town Center Package, in Eastham, nearby the Beanstock Coffee Roasters facility. A limited amount has been produced, so we encourage people interested in trying the beer to seek it out. As a special bonus, the first 100 bottles sold at the brewery will include a free sample bag of the Bali Blue Moon Organic Coffee. Price: $14 per bottle limit 2

NERAX 2011  - Here we come!

NERAX (New England Real Ale Exhibition) is organized by CASC, the Cask-Conditioned Ale Support Campaign. CASC is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to boosting awareness of and demand for Real Ale in New England.

NERAX is held each spring at the George Dilboy VFW Post, Davis Square, Somerville, MA.  NERAX 2011 will be the 15th Festival.

In 2011, they expect to offer more than 90 firkins of Real Ale, comprised of over 50 British beers from England, Scotland, and Wales; and about 40 American beers, mostly from New England. All the beers are cask-conditioned, served by gravity or hand-pump.     Ticket info

We need your help

to reach our goal!

We want to remind everyone that we are selling the StarGazer Stout and T shirts as a benefit for a new telescope mount at the Cobb Astro Park.  We need $6,000 to purchase the mount.. and we're gonna need a little help getting there.  We're donating $2 for every growler (new or refill) sold...and $1 for every Tshirt sold.  How 'bout you?  Can you spare a few bucks next time you're in?!  Thanks!

SAVE THE DATE:
