 | Thanks to everyone who donated to Team Cape Cod Beer! We raised over $1,800 and had a blast! Overall we ranked 4th in terms of points..but came home with a REAL PRIZE: Best Dressed Team!
Team Cape Cod Beer
 | Roll The Rock & The Last Gasp are the brain child of Bill Murphy and the Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers..whose events support the following charities: Cape and Islands United Way, Kiwanis of Hyannis & Sandwich, Cape Cod Child Development, Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod, Champ Homes & Cultural Center of Cape Cod. We're big fans of what Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers is doing because 100% of it goes to support LOCAL CHARITIES and LOCAL PEOPLE. Thanks again to all who donated and participated! |

WHAT's HOT THESE DAYS, YOU ASK!?
They surveyed 1,800 chefs about what they saw as trends in 2010.
 The top 10 overall included:
- Locally grown produce
- Locally sourced meats and seafood
- Sustainability
- Bite-size/mini desserts
- Locally-produced wine and beer
- Nutritionally balanced children's dishes
- Half-portions/smaller portion for a smaller price
- Farm/estate-branded ingredients
- Gluten-free/food allergy conscious
- Sustainable seafood
Admittly we were MOST EXCITED about #5..but the fact that 1, 2 & 5 were all LOCAL was pretty cool.. and sustainability too! ( not that we don't like mini desserts..they rock!) Local beer and wine actaully ranked #1 in the beverage and cocktail category as well!
