Green Drinks Pot Luck
Wednesday 10/28
6pm to 8pm

From the Green Drinks Website: Cape Cod Beer has graciously opened the brewery to Green Drinks for our October 28th meeting. This meeting will have a homey touch too! What's better in the fall then beer and food? This will be a meeting/potluck dinner combined. Bring a salad, crock pot dish, dessert or something you bought at the store and we will network and eat from 6-8:00 ish. Beth will be giving a tour of the brewery at 7:00 and a free tasting. It's a great chance to make some new friends, see a local green business in full operation and eat some good food!
Green Drinks Background: Meet us each month on the last Wednesday of every month, to share fine food, drinks and conversation! The gatherings attract several dozen people each month, including environmentally-interested people from all walks of life, basically anyone interested professionally or personally in things green. Folks hail from advocacy-oriented and academia, green businesses, and government, and they come from all over Cape Cod and Plymouth. Through this network, people exchange information and ideas, develop professional and personal friendships, find jobs, develop synergies, help with others' projects, become more involved through community volunteering, and have lots of fun!
We have our gatherings at a different venue each month. Occasionally there is a featured speaker but usually it's just networking in a casual way. Every month there are always lots of new faces so stop by and just introduce yourself! People come and go between 6-8 pm.
PLEASE BRING A FRIEND AND HELP US BUILD THIS GROUP THIS YEAR!

Porter Launch Party!
@ The Red Nun in Chatham
11/03/09 @ 7pm
Join us on Election Night (Tuesday 11/3) at The Red Nun to celebrate the ANNUAL return of the PORTER! This is our FIRST "Meet Greet & Eat" event for the 2009/2010 "off season" ...For the uninitiated, a Meet Greet & Eat is an event, where we buy some appetizers at your favorite local watering hole, and you come by, hang with the "Brew Crew", nosh on appetizers, buy a beer or two, and hang out with us. Sounds pretty easy huh? It is! It's our way of saying thanks to some great customers...YOU...and of course ... The Red Nun.
As a special offering for the evening, we will also tap the very first keg of Cape Cod Porter for the 09/10 season. Be there for history in the making...ok maybe we've been watching too much reality TV......but be there! It will be fun! We promise! As a special incentive for those who enjoy our other beers, The Red Nun promises to also have Red, IPA and Blonde on tap.
Hope to see you there! Please RSVP to Blake@CapeCodBeer.com if you plan to join us! |

As you can see we still have quite a bit going on, both in and out of the brewery! Admittedly we are a bit nervous about this winter from an economic point of view. Are we on the upswing or will it be a long hard winter? Only time will tell, but we're going to do our best to encourage, incent and otherwise cajole you into going out....our local economy needs it...heck we (Cape Cod Beer) need it! So, hopefully we'll see you out and about....at the Red Nun for the Porter Launch Party..on Main Street Trick or Treating...or just hanging out with friends at one of the great year-round places that proudly serves Cape Cod Beer!
Cheers,
Todd Marcus, Brewmaster and the rest of the brew crew @ Cape Cod Beer |
