September is National Preparedness Month
Are You Ready?
The recent fire In Los Angeles make it easy to think about emergencies.  Even still, have you thought about what you would do if there were only minutes to exit your home?

The National Association of Professional Organizers is a partner in the 6th annual National Preparedness Month, sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security.  NAPO suggests everyone have a kit with emergency supplies and a three-day supply of non-perishable food (including a can opener), flashlight, battery radio, towelettes, and basic tools.

For helpful information visit www.Ready.gov.  This site will provide ideas for your home, business, children.  Do you have a plan to keep your business running if there should be an emergency?  Are dust masks a part of your emergency kit should the air need filtering?  What if you needed to get medicines refilled during a crisis?  These are just a few things that you have not even considered.  Visit this site and create you own checklists so if the worst happened your family will be ready.
