Greetings!
SPECIAL EVENTS ALERT: we can't pass up telling you about two great opportunities that came together after we sent out our normal weekly newsletter...
SPECIAL GUEST at Bainbridge Business Connections (BBC) THIS FRIDAY (4/13, 7:30-9am): Erik Lindbergh, founder and chairman of LEAP, whose mission it is to stimulate innovation for a resilient future. Yes, Erik is the grandson of Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh, and yes, Erik is a pilot (commercial-rated), but also an artist, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and speaker. And on Friday he is the featured guest at our very own BBC meeting. LEAP has two programs: the LEAP Education Program, and the LEAP Electric Flight Program, designed to accelerate the development of the electric aircraft industry (see www.lindberghprize.org).
A master storyteller, Erik uses exciting images, video clips, and humor to take his audiences on a journey from the past, to the present, and into the revolutionary future of flight. Erik is also an accomplished artist whose unique sculpture and furniture designs out of wood and bronze can be seen at LindberghGallery.com (also, see the blog: lindberghprize.org/blog. Even if you've never been to a BBC meeting before, this is one great reason to check it out. Hosted at OfficeXpats. |
