Referral Gifts and 2-hr Punch Cards coming soon

Referrals are the best way that any business grows, and in our case, another benefit of referred members is that it also helps rev up community that much quicker!  We want to thank all of you who have sent members our way and we will be asking who referred you so that we can offer a $60 membership credit as a gift to that person. If nobody referred you, we will offer a 90-minute event room rental (also valued at $60) to a local non-profit of your choice. No membership goes unrewarded!

 

We are also getting ready to offer punch cards good for 2-hr "productivity breaks." We weren't sure what to call these blocks of focus time and we're open to a better name. But we've been told numerous times that there are, for instance, many parents on the island who desperately need to get away from home for short stints while they have child care, but need a place that helps them focus on getting stuff done. And current members would like a way to drop in for short stays without using up a full day of a membership. These prepaid punch cards hold six 2-hr sessions for $60 (hmmm, $5/hr and includes free coffee...), and will also be available as a referral gift. Stay tuned.

Getting Promoted: it couldn't be easier 


Getting exposure for your business is not usually easy. Even when you are willing and able to pay for it, just coming up with the right message or finding a great picture can be daunting. As an OfficeXpats member, your FREE profile scrolls by (like a ferry ad!) in the center of the Pavilion atrium for all restaurant and theater goers to see. We will help you create your member profile and we can even take your picture. All you have to do is join.

CarolAnn Barrows is teaching Qigong at OfficeXpats starting this week! CarolAnn is a Level II Certified Qigong Instructor, and has been teaching since 2003. Although the non-strenuous movements resemble those of T'ai Chi, Qigong consists of shorter sequences which are easy to learn and practice. You will leave class feeling calm, balanced and invigorated!

 

CarolAnn is offering one evening series (Tuesdays at 7pm) and one daytime series (Thursdays at 10am). The first class is always free, so come give it a try. No special clothing needed. Contact CarolAnn (carolannbarrows@gmail.com) for more information.

How many days each month would you use OfficeXpats? 
A 'day' might be eight hours or more of getting work done in a productive, professional, and socially supportive environment. Or using a reserved conference room to host 6 people for a 2-hr meeting. Or both! You could even invite additional meeting attendees to join by Skype video conference.  
 
  • 3 days/month (Basic)  $69
  • 5 days/month  $105
  • 10 days/month  $180
  • 15 days/month  $250
  • Full time  $320
  • add unlimited after hours/weekend access to any level  $75
  • add a Pavilion gym membership to any level  $20

Note that memberships are limited to staffed business hours (8:30-5:30pm). Add after hours/weekends for $75/month.

Who We Are

OfficeXpats on Bainbridge Island is a workplace solution beyond commuting to the corporate office or working from home.

 

Coworking is about making the personal choice to work alongside other people instead of in isolation. We offer a shared "community" office for remote workers, independent consultants, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.

 

OfficeXpats is located in the Pavilion on Madison, just a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal. We hope to help you in your quest for 'new ways to work.'
