OfficeXpats has a home!
Greetings!
This week is National Small Business Week, and what timing! In honor of the amazing economic engine of our country, we are very excited to announce that we have signed a lease, and that OfficeXpats will be opening soon in The Pavilion! As I'm sure you know, the Pavilion is where you go to catch a movie or have a great dinner. Now, if you were an 'Xpat', how might you rethink these nearby amenties? Take your client to lunch after a successful meeting? Book a theater at a great price for a truly spectacular presentation or training? But there's more. The Pavilion also hosts Sound Reprographics for printing of all types (banners, t-shirts, signs, and of course on paper too). It has The Gym at the Pavilion, with a locker room and showers, and rumor has it that there might be a sweet special offer for our members. :-) Patience has paid off, and we believe we have found the perfect home. Parking is abundant during work hours. The ferry is a five-minute walk away. Light pours in from all sides, including through transomes in the roof. And a lovely diversity of spaces will give us plenty to play with as we discover how to use them. More to come soon on a few tenant improvements in the works, but it's mostly icing on the cake. We have lots to celebrate! |

OfficeXpats has an opening date too!
Coworking on Bainbridge will be open for business on August 15. What can you expect?
Coworking: Bring your laptop, grab a seat, and get to work. You'll be able to connect to a printer wirelessly, or use the fax/copier. If you need to take your phone calls elsewhere, there are lots of places to escape to for privacy.
Conference rooms: You can count on four conference rooms of various sizes. One of them will also be available for rent as an event room that can host over two dozen attendees. So sharpen up your presentation skills!
Kitchenette/cafe space: Take a break with complimentary coffee or tea, or bring your lunch and hang out with other Xpats. We'll have the basics: a fridge, dishwasher, sink, and vented microwave. |

Who We Are
OfficeXpats on Bainbridge Island is a response to the growing need for a solution beyond working at the corporate office or working from home.
We are a shared office environment that meets the conferencing and community needs of remote workers, independent consultants, and entrepreneurs.
Full time and part time memberships include features of a business membership club, an Internet café, the library, and the exploding trend of coworking, with easy access to the Winslow business district services and ferry transportation. Coworking is about making the personal choice to work alongside other people instead of in isolation. Coworkers show up with their laptop, grab a desk, and get to work. They have access to all the features of a professional office as well... they can print, copy, and fax, use conference rooms, get coffee, and eventually get to know other coworkers. Informal member events, after hours social and business networking, and professional development classes expand our members' effectiveness and opportunities.
