STH 33 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT - UPDATE

All east and west bound traffic has now been moved to the north lanes through the length of the Village.  This condition will continue at least through the end of September.  The first storm sewer line will continue to be constructed going east.  Construction of a second storm sewer line starting at Port Washington State Bank will commence within the next week or two and progress towards the east as well, along the south side of the highway.

Curbing crews have begun construction on the south side of the highway east of the interstate.

The tentative closure dates for the south-bound on-ramp is the week of September 12,  and for the north-bound off-ramp is the week of September 19.  These dates are weather dependent.  The detour routes during the ramp closures will be posted once received from the WisDOT.

As always, please slow down and watch for construction equipment and personnel when driving through the project limits.  Proceed with extreme caution.   The contractor and WisDOT are making every effort to ensure a timely schedule.

Please continue to support our local businesses.
