STH 33 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT - UPDATE

The south-bound I43 on-ramp is tentatively planned for COMPLETE CLOSURE the week of August 29.  The detour route will be CTH W south to CTH V/STH 32 and then to I43.  This posting will be updated as the date approaches.

Crews will continue to work on the median storm sewer progressing to the east the remainder the week of August 15.

To reduce frustration with traffic backups, pre-plan your travel through the area.  Do your shopping in the evening when traffic volumes are down.  Use CTH W and Mink Ranch Road or CTH W to Sauk Road to drive to Port Washington.  If you are traveling north on I43 to go to Saukville, take exit 93 ( Hwy. 32/CTH V), go south and turn right onto CTH W and go north.

As always, please slow down and watch for construction equipment and personnel when driving through the project limits.  Proceed with extreme caution.   The contractor and WisDOT are making every effort to ensure a timely schedule.

Please continue to support our local businesses.
