STH 33 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT - UPDATE

By August 5th, traffic will be moved to the outside two lanes starting at PWSB to facilitate storm sewer underground work in the median.  The work will progress from the bank to the east, under the interstate, and beyond.

Pedestrians are advised to use the north side sidewalk only. Some areas will only be gravel so use caution where the surface transitions.  To reduce frustration with traffic backups, pre-plan your travel through the area.  Do your shopping in the evening when traffic volumes are down.  Use CTH W and Mink Ranch Road or CTH W to Sauk Road to drive to Port Washington.  If you are traveling north on I43 to go to Saukville, take exit 93 ( Hwy. 32/CTH V), go south and turn right onto CTH W and go north.

Please continue to support our local businesses. It is greatly appreciated.

As always, please slow down and watch for construction equipment and personnel when driving through the project limits.  Proceed with extreme caution.   The contractor and WisDOT are making every effort to ensure a timely schedule.

Grady Park Lighting Project

The Village is in the process of installing new lighting at the Grady Park tennis courts.

There will be no lights on the courts until at least August 15th, but the courts will still be open for play.  This schedule is weather dependent.  When the project is complete, there will be new energy efficient LED lights for the courts and a new light pole for the batting cage.

Emergency Management

Question: Why do I need an Emergency Weather Radio?

Answer: They are like "smoke alarms" for danger.

1.  Emergency Radios pick up emergency information 24 hours.

2.  Critical to have on all the time, especially at night.

3.  You get the message directly from the National Weather Service

     and other agencies immediately.

4.  Alerts you to weather dangers like tornados and floods, accidents like nuclear

     power emergencies, and terrorist attacks.
