STH 33 Public Information Meeting | |
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a Public Information Meeting to discuss the reconstruction of STH 33, from the Milwaukee River Overflow Bridge, Saukville to South Tower Drive, Port Washington.

The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 16th, at the Village of Saukville Village Hall, 639 E. Green Bay Avenue.
A presentation by WisDOT staff will be given at 7 p .m. to provide an update on the project, scheduled to start in late May. Additional Information |

Summer Playground Program | |
The Village is now accepting registration for the Summer Playground Program. The Summer Program includes creative & energetic leaders, active games, theme craft sessions, and fun field trips. The Program runs Monday - Friday from June 20th to Aug. 12th. More Information.

| Sno-Seekers Donation | |
Special Thank You to the Saukville Sno-Seekers for their donation of Safety Ropes to the Saukville Police Department. Each squad car will be equipped with this specialized safety equipment. This generous donation enables the Police Department to keep the residents of our Village safer in the event of a water rescue situation. |

River Fest - Community Clean-up | |
Come join the 16thAnnual Saukville River Fest, Time dedicated to cleaning along the banks of the Milwaukee River, Village parks, and streets.This event, scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2011, is sponsored by Village Room Tax and includes participation of local businesses. Public Works Update | |
PART-TIME SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
COMPOST SITE ATTENDANT
The Village is seeking a seasonal part-time person to manage and provide oversight for the Village's compost drop-off site located at the Public Works Garage, 649 S. Main Street. The site is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday through the end of October. Work hours are flexible. Applicants must be a resident of the Village. Spring Clean Up Notes:
The Village will not be collecting any spring clean up debris curbside. The debris, grass clippings, garden waste can be containerized and brought to the compost site, 649 S. Main Street. Please do not put debris, branches, brush into the street.

Village Park Rentals
The Village of Saukville park system is comprised of 8 parks with nearly 80 acres of recreational area. All park facilities are available to Village residents and their guests. Reservations must be made for private use of the Grady Park, Quade Park, or Schowalter Park pavilions and/or concession buildings, and also Veterans Park Bandstand by calling the Municipal Center between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays (262)284-9423.
