Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 23rd

Grady Park at 10:00 a.m.  This event is for children ages 9 and under.  There will be treats & a visit from the Easter Bunny.  This annual event is sponsored by the Saukville Moose Lodge & Saukville American Legion Post #470.

Support Your Local Fire Department on Saturday, April 30th

 

In an effort to raise funds for a new thermal imaging camera for the Saukville Fire Department, the Saukville Lions Club will be hosting a Welcome to the Summer Brat Fry on Saturday,Fire Truck April 30th at Saukville Meats.  Fire Department personnel & equipment will be at the event.

 

 
STH 33 Reconstruction Project Update 

Motorists may have noticed that construction along the STH 33 project has begun. At this time, utility companies such as WE Energies, SBC, PAETEC and Time Warner are placing overhead lines underground prior to the highway construction.

 

As with any construction, motorists are reminded to slow down in construction zones and pay extra attention for unexpected vehicles, equipment and personnel movements in traffic.

Economic Development Update 

Business Park

The Village's Community Development Authority (CDA) will be stockpiling spoils in the Dekora Woods Business Park from the STH 33 reconstruction project to assist future development in the Village.

 

MShiraz - Wines of Wisconsin, Office Distribution Center,  located at 668 North Progress.  Plans to be ready for occupancy in 60 days.

 

Firehouse Restaurant - Plans to open on Monday, May 9th.  Stop in and support this new local business.
      
Walmart Reconstruction Project Update:
New front elevation footings & walls are complete.  Construction is on schedule for a November 2011 completion.    
  
Grams Sutures will soon be locating in the Lakeland Business Center, 560 W. Technology Way.

Please Note ... The Village will not be collecting any spring clean up debris curbside. The debris, grass clippings, garden waste can be containerized and brought to the compost site,  649 S. Main Street.  Please do not put debris, branches, brush into the street.

River Fest - Community Clean-up 

Sign-Up Now ...

To participate in the 16thAnnual Saukville River Fest, a time dedicated to cleaning along the banks of the Milwaukee River, Village parks and streets!  This event, scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2011, is sponsored by the Village Room Tax Fund and local businesses.  The event promotes family, fun, cooperation and environmental responsibility and awareness among citizens.

Appraisal/Revaluation - 2011

Accuarate Appraisal LLC, the asssessors for the Village, recently began the full reassessment of all properties in the Village.  Accurate will be doing outside inspections only.  Your cooperation with the Accurate staff is greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions, please contact Village Hall or Accurate Appraisal at (800)770-3927.   

Water Utility Information 

PLEASE NOTE ...The Water Department will be Flushing Fire Hydrants in the Business & Industrial Parks the week of April 25th.

 

REMEMBER ...Water bills are due Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
