Ignite your passion
+++++++++++++++++++
Ability is about more than skill. Ability is about more than knowledge.
Though skill and knowledge and experience are important, there's something even more powerful that drives ability. It is passion.
If you do not have a strong desire, fueled by passion, it doesn't really matter how much skill you have. If you lack passion, it doesn't matter how much experience or knowledge you have.
When you are truly passionate, that brings your skills and knowledge to life. When you are truly passionate, even if you lack sufficient skills you will find a way to acquire them.
Passion compels and enables you to connect with whatever is necessary to express and fulfill that passion. Passion pushes you into action, and supplies the energy for perseverance.
What are the things that ignite your passion? It's well worth your time and effort to know exactly what they are.

What You Missed in May
Janis Van Ahn, Health Insurance Advisor LLC, helped us understand about the different types of Medicare plans and how they affect us or our parents. Many of us are in the "Sandwich Generation" because we are caregivers to our parents and our own families. Janis made an otherwise "dry" topic interesting, educational and even fun!
Our Non Profit Organization of the Month was Passageway. Linda Oleson-King who is the Executive Director informed us about how 1 in 4 people suffers from a mental illness and how Passageway serves and supports its members in their pursuit of mental and physical health and helps them transition back into employment.
Attendance was once again outstanding at both of our locations! We continue to see both new and familiar faces and enjoy sharing our businesses with each other. We hope if you weren't able to join us this month or haven't been to a WOW luncheon in awhile that you will join us next month! It's all about You and Your Business!
We hope to see you soon!
Becky, Ann and Jennifer

Business Growth Tip
Your Business Health Check Up~
When was the last time you had your personal health checkup? You wouldn't think of missing that 'annual,' so now it's time to give your business its 'annual.' Here's a start......
- When was the last time I assessed pricing?
- Have I completed a competitive analysis?
- Have I put a social media plan together for this year, for that matter, a marketing plan?
- Do I need to implement a sales plan?
- Do all of my employees know what I expect from them (and the consequences?)
- Is my product/service still feasible and viable?
- Do I have the right people (or do I need to hire) and/or are they in the right places?
- Am I getting the best bang for the buck from my suppliers?

Personal Growth Tip
Vacation is Healthy for You!
Taking time off for a vacation has long lasting benefits. The majority of Americans don't
take all of their vacation days and yet more than half of them feel they need a getaway more often!
Men who go on regular vacations are 32% less apt to die of a heart attack then those who don't and women are about twice as likely to be more satisfied with their marriage. Looking forward to a vacation and budgeting to make it happen can be stress relieving enough, but taking the trip ~ life enchanting!
Make Travel a priority and plan a getaway!
