RELAX AND LOWER YOUR PITCH
Most communication is pre-verbal, so it makes sense that we respond to the sound and tone of a person's voice. Every sound is made up of a combination of vibrations that hit the ear mechanism. If the voice is not soothing, or if it is too soft or too loud, it is tuned out, tuning out the message with it.
Be aware of the pitch of your voice, and consciously relax and lower the pitch if you find your voice pitched in a high or 'pinchy' range. (Watch the video below to learn how to do this easily.) You want your listener to relax and enjoy what you're talking or singing about, and not be distracted by an unappealing voice.
My Viva La Voice Tip:
For an appealing voice,
consciously relax and lower your pitch

A GREAT REVIEW FROM SINGER/PRODUCER/GUITARIST RICARDO MURGUIA!
"I have been reading and really enjoying your book "From Shower to Stage". It really contains a marvelous pot of secrets and techniques that even if you have been singing all your life, will remember and use them during your performances. It is like having a personal "Singing Manual" ! I personally recommend it and agree with your vocalization techniques. Bravo! You did it again!" Ricardo Murguia
