The next Planning and Zoning Meeting is rescheduled for this Thursday, May 17th, at 7:00 PM in the Berlin High School Auditorium.
As you know, the last meeting was canceled because too many people showed up for the venue in Town Hall. I assure you that if we want to be taken seriously, our presence in numbers is very important. This week, because of the size of the venue, we will need even more people present to be heard and make our point.
Once again, it is important for all of us to come to the meeting, listen to the presentations and express our opinions. A group from the Parish will present our concerns and reservations about the development plan. It is our hope that those attending will listen and feel free to express their opinions also.
Whatever the outcome of these meetings, the people responsible have a right and an obligation to hear what we think. It is unfair to them for us to remain silent and then complain later.
Hope to see you at Berlin High School this Thursday at 7:00 PM, and next Thursday, May 24th, at 7:00 PM (location to be announced).
