Explore Education with ACT Explore
ACT Explore is one of Eastern Ohio P-16 Partnership for Education's cornerstone programs. This program is designed to help 8th and 9th graders explore a broad range of career options by preparing students for high school coursework and assisting their decisions about post-secondary education. ACT Explore represents an $18,000 investment in the local educational community - spanning 19 districts in four counties - including Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Ashtabula. Participating 8th grade students take an exam - similar to the ACT - that evaluates strengths and weaknesses in subjects like math, English, science and reading. The results from this test help prepare students for the actual ACT exam. |
