Greetings!
The winter holiday season is a joyful time of year. It is a time for loving, sharing, giving, and decorating with bells, lights and tinsel. The celebration brings families and friends together to enjoy a spectacular holiday feast.
In this month's newsletter we will share with you some of the fun activities our team at Murphy and Jordan/Brownstone has been doing to stay fit and help out our local community. We will also cover safety tips to take while enjoying the holidays. |

As we enjoy the large holiday feasts the season brings, Murphy and Jordan/Brownstone won't be loosening buttons for gaining those extra holiday pounds. As a way to promote wellness and give back to the community, our staff has been participating in a new workout incentive.
So far each week employees have been totaling between 60-65 exercise hours. At the end of the month our hours are totaled, we each pick our favorite charity, and a dollar amount is donated. It looks like there will be a lot of happy, healthy, and fit employees here at M&J!

 To keep the season merry, it is important to be aware of the hazards in your home and take the proper precautions to ensure you have a safe and happy holiday season.
After all, with the food preparation, decorations, and entertaining there is an increased risk of fire in your home.

 With the hustle and bustle the busy holiday season brings, it is important to remember that there are communities who need a helping hand. This past year, there has been a tremendous growth in families and individuals seeking help.
To lend a hand out to our neighbors, Murphy and Jordan had its first annual Local Food Drive and donated items to the Rockland Food Pantry. After all, 'tis the season for giving. Murphy and Jordan wishes you a safe and happy holiday season! |
