Ahoy Maties!
Dress like a pirate on the official opening of the pirate ship and sing a pirate song, "I'm a pirate! That I be! I sail me ship upon the sea! I stay up late-til half past three! And that's a peg below me knee!"
"X" marks the spot of where all you Buccaneers should be this Monday, March 7th, as we open our newest exhibit at the North Platte Area Children's Museum.

PIRATE FACTS
1. What's the difference between pirate and privateer? Privateers are sanctioned by their respected government and they do not attack ships from their own country. Pirates harass anyone passing by. 2. Contrary to the book Treasure Island, most Captains didn't command by an iron fist, they commanded through skill, daring, and the ability to win prize and booty. 3. The Pirate ship elected its Captain through a vote. If the Captain fell in disfavor the crew was just as quick to maroon their captain.
- The pirate flags were designed to threaten, intimidate and spread fear & dread amongst all that encountered the pirate ships. If you were a pirate, what would your flag look like?
