| Thought 4 Today |
Jesus is the Lord of peace.
His peace is given to us at all times, in all ways, under all circumstances and
conditions, whatever comes! Wow! Peace for whatever comes! Right now as I write this I
am on some kind of supernatural Holy Spirit tranquilizer. Our church is
undergoing an extreme makeover, and I'm not just talking about external
cosmetics. There is a change in management style that is a causing all of us to
stretch even out of our own ordinary personalities. Maybe you have gone through
such a major change at your work place or perhaps you encountered such change
when you switched companies and bosses. The point being that change, even
positive change, is not easy on people, and I'm including myself in that. But, I am filled with an
amazing peace. I am shocked at myself. Sunday I got home late from my day at
church and my blood pressure was low. Who can figure? I am so unmoved,
unruffled, and tranquil that I'm wondering if I may be sick. A better thought
would be that by God's grace I have grown into His peace. His peace definitely
possesses my spirit, soul, and body. And, what a delicious peace it is! To Him
be the glory. Now if I can have this
peace, you can have this peace. His peace is for all of us, at all times, under
all conditions and circumstances, WHATEVER comes! Glory!

| A Prayer To Receive Jesus Christ As Your Lord |
Romans 10:9 NLT: "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Jesus becomes the Lord of your life by your own personal invitation and declaration, and by believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
PRAYER: "Jesus, I invite you to be my personal Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and that God has raised You from the dead. This very moment I declare aloud with my own mouth that You are Lord of my life! Thank you for Your forgiveness and your unconditional love. Jesus, you are the Son of God! From this moment forward I determine to live for You because You died for me. I surrender myself to God. I am now Yours. Thank you for saving me and making me a brand new person deep within my heart. Thank You for this new beginning and the assurance of heaven being my eternal home. I love You, Lord Jesus, because You first loved me! Amen." |
